Abstract:
Comparison of the surface pseudosources method (SPSM) with other numerical methods for the neutron transport equation is presented. It is pointed out that unlike most of approaches where the influence function of first flight neutrons is used, the Green functions of infinite homogenous media are taken as the basis in the surface pseudosources method. The resulting algebraic system of equations has lower order in $\mathrm{G}_n$-aproximations of the SPSM then for other approaches because we give detail solutions up here and are interested only in calculations of practical functionals. The coefficients of this system are calculated sufficiently easy. These two points allow to construct very effective algorithms of solution for transport eguation.
