Abstract:
The mathematical model of the turbulent flow of the dissociating gas in the entrance region of the circular tube under the conditions of equilibrium is presented. The basic mechanisms of the interaction of the chemical conversions and turbulence are taken into account. Numerical integration of the Reynolds equations written in the form of the “narrow channel” approach is performed at the nonuniform grids with the employment of the efficitive difference schemes. The influence of the chemical reactions on the heat transfer to the isothermal ideally catalitic wall is examined. In great detail the turbulent structure of stream is presented.
