Abstract: In the paper an analysis of system of differential-delay equations modelling the dynamics of laser with nonlinear delay element generation is done on the basis of special asymptotic technique. The system at issue is shown to possess a very complex dynamics. Its stationary regimes are of a complicated relaxation structure. The phenomenon of muItistability caused by coexistence of different regimes (slowly and fast oscillating regimes of generation, regimes with “splashes” of emission density) is described analytically. The possibility of presence of several attractors of structurally similar regimes is proved.
