Abstract:
The methodology of the multi-group radiation transport calculation, which is as a part of the gas dynamics numerical simulation in Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) problems under essential role of the intrinsic radiation, is described. Some theoretical results of the LATRANT program complex are compared with experimental data of the full-scale experiments at PALS system. The optical database DESOPLA, which is based on the theoretical model DESNA, was used in framework of LATRANT program complex. The spectral coefficient for x-ray absorption was calculated for oxygen plasma using DESNA model. The result is compared with results of ion model of hot dense plasmas (IM) and with the model, which is based on the relativistic Hartree-Fock equations in framework of Detail Configuration Accounting (LEDCOP code).
