On the plasma equilibrium in the galatea – trap magnetic field

Abstract: A mathematical model of quasiequilibrium plasma configuration is considered around the current carrying wire in the “galatea” magnetic trap. It is separated by a finite distance from the conductor. The configuration may be formed at the initial stage of the process by means of electric current increasing in the wire. Thereafter the weak diffusion of magnetic field in the high conductive plasma destroys it slowly. MHD-models of strongly equilibrium such configurations don't exist.
