Abstract: The original algorithm of the numerical solution of the Euler equations of gas dynamics is discussed in two-dimensional case. The algorithm is based on the local linear spline-reconstruction solution within computational cell of the grid with the subsequent presentation solution in the form of multilayer acoustic approximation which allows to reproduce the characteristic properties of the solution. The proposed method is adapted to the three dimensional case. The solution of the actual application problem of the interaction of gas jets which are taken off from the aircraft engine with the reflective screen was carried out.

Keywords: gas dynamics, Euler equations, acoustic waves, numerical schemes of the Godunov’s type.
