Abstract: A mathematical model of the electrochemical process in the flow three-dimensional electrode, taking into account changes in the flow velocity of the electrolyte in the electrode, was developed. Electrolyte flow rate, porosity and specific surface of the electrode reaction were regarded as functions of time and coordinates of the electrode. A set of algorithms and programs, formulas and equations were developed. The calculations of the processes of electrodeposition of copper on the cathodes of carbonographite fiber materials with low and high conductivity, with different initial velocities of the flow of the electrolyte were performed. The results of calculations and experimental studies were compared. Satisfactory agreement between calculated and experimental results was shown.

Keywords: mathematical model, three dimensional flow electrode, flow velocity of the electrolyte, electrodeposition of metals.
