Abstract:
In given article efficiency of application of the segregated and coupled pressure-based algorithms is analyzed at modelling of turbulent flows. The segregated algorithm represents classical method SIMPLE and is based on semi-implicit coupling of speed and pressure. The coupled algorithm is based on fully implicit coupling of velocity and pressure. Coupling is carried out at the expense of an implicit coefficients gradient of pressure and a mass flow entering into the momentum and continuity equations. Implicit coefficients received thus are summarised in the general coupled matrix solved with use of an algebraic multinet method. At comparison of algorithms the total time of the account of problems and quantity of iterations to full convergence is resulted.
