Abstract:
The work is devoted to modeling the phase transformations of gas hydrate inclusions in porous media. The study of these problems makes it possible to develop various technologies for the development of gas hydrate deposits. A two-block mathematical model of dissociation of gas hydrates in a porous medium is proposed and investigated. The model is based on splitting into physical processes. For the numerical analysis of the model an absolutely stable difference scheme is constructed and realized in the spatially one-dimensional case. On the basis of the constructed difference scheme, calculations were made of water saturation, thawing, and thermodynamic parameters (pressure and temperature). The analysis of the data obtained in calculations confirmed that with the help of the presented approach it is possible to solve the typical problems of gas hydrate fluid dynamics, to study the complex dynamics of water and hydrate saturation of the formation.
