Numerical simulation of methane air mixture turbulent combustion with using LES

Abstract: The methodology of turbulent combustion simulation is presented. The methodology base on large eddy simulation coupled with global reaction. Numerical simulation of flow in laboratory combustion chamber was performed. An analysis of the reaction model constant was carried out. It is shown the methodology provides good agreement between numerical and experimental results in laboratory combustion chambers.
