Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the mathematical modeling of the acoustic field, which is scattered by the homogeneous isotropic cylinder with the radially inhomogeneous elastic coating. The primary perturbation field is a cylindrical harmonic sound wave emitted by a linear source. It is assumed that the source and scatterer axes are not parallel and do not lie in the same plane. The density and elastic moduli of the coating material are described by continuous functions of the radial coordinate. The results of calculations of the angular characteristics of the scattered acoustic field in the far zone for different positions of the linear source are presented.
