Abstract: Shock-wave loads on the reactor hall safety containment are determined by the method of a direct computer simulation of combustion and detonation processes in hydrogen-air mixtures. The calculations were performed with regard to kinetics of chemical reactions and creation of products of chemical transformations in conditions that correspond to accident situation of the nuclear reactor WWER-1000 at different scenarios of the process development.
