Abstract:
Experimental results of investigations of an interaction of single jets and double supersonic underexpanded jets with opposing supersonic flow are presented. The investigations have been carried out at free stream Mach number ${\rm M}_\infty\approx 1.99$ and the next jet parameters: non-dimensional stagnation pressure $N=1-1389.9$, static pressure ratio range $n<1$ to $n=34.8$ and nozzle exit Mach number ${\rm M}j=4.3$. Wave
structures and stagnation pressure fields near single jets and double jets have been studied. The characteristic regimes of interaction flow are found. It was established that position of different flow type of zones near a jet and stagnation pressure coefficients at these zones depended on main parameters of similarity: $N$, $r$ ($r$ is geometry factor of a bloc jet) at fixed Mach numbers ${\rm M}_\infty$, ${\rm M}j$ and geometry of nozzle source $D=D_M/dj$.
