Abstract: For the investigation of the thermal condition of the rocket engine chamber working in a pulse mode, temperature of the inner surface in several sections of the chamber was measured with the help of quick-response film thermoelectric transducers. The method of an optimal estimation was used for the recovery of non-stationary heat flows on various segments of switching. The Kalman filter is applied for obtaining of optimum estimations. With use of the method of thermal balances the engine thermal calculation was carried out and the estimation of effectiveness of bimetallic chambers was estimated.
