Heat and mass transfer in termo- and hre protection, taking into account the processes of thermal decomposition, evaporation-condensation, mass trasfer and swelling shrinkage
Abstract:
Peculiarities and stages of numerical realization of mathematical models of heat and mass transfer in thermo and fire protection on the basis of main physico-chemical transformations, that take place in the materials at high temperature (thermal decomposition, evaporation-condensation, mass transfer and swelling-shrinkage), are considered. Optimal combination of the degree of the detailed elaboration of physico-mathematical models, computer potentialities and calculation accuracy was achieved at all the development stages of the calculation methods and programs. Realization of the mentioned methods and programs showed their effectiveness practically for all types of the materials and constructions used. Comparison results of the calculated and experimental data, presented for one of the typical swelling fire protective coatings, proved their adequacy and possible use of the calculation methods in
practical engineering.
