School textbooks on mathematics by Sergey Mikhailovich Nikolsky

April 30 of this year marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Academician Sergei Mikhailovich Nikolsky. The article describes the school textbooks on mathematics, written (in most cases in co-authorship) by academician S.M. Nikolsky. Due to their high quality, these textbooks can become the basis of a federal set of textbooks instead of a set of so-called “unified textbooks”, the quality of which is much lower.
