A Criterion for the Compactness of the Support of a Generalized Function (Distribution) in Terms of the Fourier–Laplace Transform

Abstract: Using the Fragmen–Lindelöf principle, we prove that, in the Paley–Wiener–Schwartz theorem, the condition imposed on the function can be replaced by two conditions whose validity is easier to verify in a number of cases.
