Gamkrelidze Convexification and Bogolyubov's Theorem

Abstract: The interconnection between an optimal control problem and its convexification in the sense of Gamkrelidze and Bogolyubov is studied. Bogolyubov's classical result for the simplest problem of variational calculus is obtained as a corollary.
