A general theorem concerning semi-groups with certain finiteness conditions

For an arbitrary abstract theoretico-semi-group propertytheta, satisfying certain natural conditions, we describe (to within the structure of groups possessing the propertytheta) the structure of periodic subgroups with the propertytheta.
