Classification of One-Dimensional Expanding Attractors

Abstract: It is shown that, in any dimension $d\ge 3$, there exist diffeomorphisms of compact $d$-manifolds with one-dimensional expanding attractors which are conjugate on these attractors but not conjugate on their neighborhoods.
