Abstract: Composites of rotationally-moldable linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) are becoming increasingly popular for rotational molding. In this study, the influence of fumed silica (FS) in pulling force requirement for demolding of rotationally moldable LLDPE is investigated. The dynamic mechanical analysis and creep studies were also performed to ascertain the reinforcement effects of FS in LLDPE matrix.

Keywords: LLDPE, FS, rotational molding.
