Analysis of a sidebands-based quantum cryptography system with different detector types

Abstract: We performed theoretical analysis of a sidebands-based quantum cryptography system with two types of detectors: an avalanche photodiode and a superconducting photon counter. The influence of detector parameters on eavesdropper “Intercept-resend” attack efficiency was investigated.
