Abstract:
Detection of the high spectral resolution spectra by high sensitivity nonresonant Raman scattering of light from single-stranded oligonucleatides d(20G, 20T), where d is abbreviation from deoxyribonucleotide, G guanine and T – thymine. Observation of the narrow spectral lines allows to determine characteristic time scale to study dynamics of fast relaxation processes of the vibrational motions of atoms in biomacromolecules. It is found that for one of the narrowest line at 1355.4 cm-1, attributed to fluctuations of the methyl group of dT, full width on a half of its height is equal 14.6 cm-1 and appropriate life time was equal 0.38 ps.
