Abstract:
Construction of modern seismic resistant buildings leads to the development of new building techniques, as well as new materials and the best approaches of their use. Reducing the weight of the structure results in cost efficiency and time saving. The results of experimental studies of light polymer concrete under compression are presented, based on lightweight aggregates such as perlite and pumice, with the addition of polymer impurities, as well as taking into account the resistance of polypropylene microfiber on the elastic properties of lightweight concrete.
