Accumulation of additional volume in the water-storage reservoir via automatic action booster valves

Abstract: It is suggested to install automatic action booster valve on any spillway construction engineered, built and tested by us for the accumulation of storm discharge in the water-storage reservoir. Hydraulic and geometric parameters’ calculation method of water-storage reservoir shaft spillway booster valve in Khachen village of Nagorno-Karabakh is given. The valve discharge intensity level has been determined as a spillway discharge sum of practical profile and panel outflow.
