Abstract:
A method of hydraulic and geological calculation is given to determine the partial restoration of piezometric pressure when the flow rate of water intake well is sharply reduced at some point in time. In developing the method of calculation it is assumed that at this time point together with the flowing well at the same place an injection vertical well operates the flow rate of which equals to the same value of reduction. Moreover, despite the fact that the boundary condition on the flowing well is non-linear the principle of movements’ superposition is applicable here. Net modeling studies to check the calculation method gave sufficient accuracy (the average deviation is about $4~\%$).
