Abstract:
The results of studies on the broken brick powder influence on the main characteristics of limestone mortars are presented. Experiments are implemented in laboratories of "NUACA Building materials and Fabrications” and "Horizon-95" company. The lime-broken brick powder and lime-cement mortars of improved technological, technical and operational properties on air-hardening lime and Portland cement of Ararat plant and use of river and lithoidal-pumice sands were developed and investigated. The results of the work can be used in development of mortars for restoration of stone structures of Armenian architectural monuments.
