National university of architecture and construction of Armenia

Abstract: Issues related to the studies of a fluid transferring pipeline’s stability and vibrations, having history of more than 50 years, are really topical. Despite the number of works dedicated to these issues many qualitative and quantitative aspects of the mentioned phenomenon remain unexplored. In particular, Galiorkin method’s applicability is still quite disputable, the influence of fluid flow rate and pressure on the dynamic characteristics of pipeline have not been studied profoundly. Based on a case study, research for several issues is carried out hereby.

Keywords: pipeline, vibrations, natural frequency, rotary inertia.
