Abstract:
The construction of monolithic columns by the use of a new type of a formwork is considered. In monolithic construction, to reduce the time and labour-output ratio of formwork by the mechanization of the installation and dismantling works, the formwork panels, depending on their height, are mounted with cranks on a rigid frame that supports the rotation of the cranks as well as the closing and opening of the shields. The dimensions of the erected columns’ sections are regulated due to the movement of crank driven shields. When the formwork is lifted, the shields automatically depart from the erected column, and when it is lowered, the shields come closer at the design point.
