The development of atrium-type residential buildings within the historical context

In the context of a complex analysis the historical development of atrium-type residential constructions are introduced during the different stages of Architecture formation since ancient times till present. The definition of “atrium” term is given, as well as the inseparable applications of similar buildings in different countries and climate zones are described. The historical development of atrium-type residential buildings in the Republic of Armenia is also considered hereby.
