Corroboration of the selection of type and structure of mastara reservoir dam

The description of the hydrological and geological conditions of the Mastara reservoir area is presented in the article. From the economic point of view for the choice of the best option of Mastara reservoir dam body structure, five options of the cut off were observed. As a result, the main option was proposed a rockfill dam with geomembrane overcoat. It is recommended mud wastes regulation structure, which will enable to protect geomembrane overcoat during operation of the reservoir
