Informational modeling of buildings and maintenance problems of historical and architectural monuments

The analysis of the features for using the latest Information Modeling (BIM) technology when working with architectural monuments has been implemented. The use of BIM technologies in historical and architectural work can radically change the maintaining and developing of the significant amount of information. The article discusses the relations between the elements of the architectural monument's information model, the peculiarities of the creation of such a model, the necessity and importance of developing the libraries of historical buildings.
