Abstract: In this article the dimensional composition of "Cascade" complex in space and time (Since Tamanyan project up to modern developments) has been analyzed. The architectural-monumental complex has been presented as a harmony with the landscape, as well as an example of environment transformation where perceptions are controversial. The literal meaning of the environment-creation elements has been revealed. "Cascade” complex offers two types of communication from below (visual) between the city and the person and from the top to the panoramic (general).

Keywords: "Cascade” complex, dimensional composition, environment, symbolism.
