Some priority and prospective solutions to urban transport problems of the city of Yerevan

The problems that arise as a result of the increasing traffic intensity in Yerevan every year are discussed in this article. The main factors that have led to a substantial decline of the road capacity nets are mentioned herein. The intensities of transit transport currents to the city through interstate and republican significance roads have been calculated and analyzed, as the city street network is overloaded due to the lack of bypass roads. The problem of integrating the route orientation system for these currents is monitored. Some priority (non-costly) and prospective (costly) solutions are proposed for the solution of these problems.
