Unsteady decelerating motion in a pipeline when resistance coefficient of the gate chages

Abstract: To reveal changes in the characteristics of unsteady, slow-moving pressure, as a result of generalization of the experimental research the function of changing the coefficient of resistance of the evenly closing, smooth valve was obtained. By the obtained formula from the valve resistance coefficient, simple and compound nonlinear sliding motion studies were performed, which resulted in values of pressure and mean velocity and estimated the amount of pressure drop after valve.
