Abstract:
Large amount of waste has been accumulated in Armenia after extraction of volcanic tuffs and like the main rocks they possess the same multicolority and high chemical activity. Through the targeted use of this valuable natural potential it is possible to develop artificial cementless materials with the same decorative and technical characteristics - tiles for buildings, architectural decorative elements and other stone products, which are produced by vibrocompression and also with energy-saving technology, where the dry silicate lump is the consolidating component and does not have any impact on the color and the fine grained dolomite admixture is the hardener. The low cost of the raw materials and energy-saving technology will ensure low manufacturing cost and high profitability of the final product and with the use of this waste it is also possible to solve the environmental problem of the Republic of Armenia. This method of preliminary mathematical modeling of experimental researches and experiments has clarified the connections of the material quantities and the optimal modes of heat treatment in the range of 200–5000C, as well as the technological methods for controlling the characteristics of obtained artificial stone materials, which will be used for the development of specific production technologies.
