Abstract:
Pressure regulation problems occurred while making water supply network zones of Yerevan city are discussed hereby. The applications of using pressure reducing valves and the selection of the principles of critical and most vulnerable parts with the help of simplified water supply network regulation joints are discussed. The operation principle of the pressure reducing valve as well as the main standards and parameters of their selection are described. Practical application of this recommendation reduced the water quantity loss provided to the water supply zone and increased the reliability of water supply network operation.
