Distribution pecularities of water resourses in the RA water basin management territories

In the territory of the Armenian Republic relatively scarcity of water resources, unequal territorial distribution of both water resources and population, unproportional water demand in different areas of economy (agriculture, industry, water supply, etc.) has engendered new requirements not only for water resources’ assesment but also for their comprehensive and efficient use and preservation which are implemented on the territorial water management level of basins. The pecularities of water supply and demand distribution in those areas as well as water shortage assessment are considered hereby.
