Abstract:
On the basis of maximum instantaneous flow data of Geghi River’s hydrological post the empirical and theoretical curves of safety are made. The mudflow passed through Geghi in 1956 is considered as a historical maximum instantaneous flow. The calculations reveal that the maximum flow entering the first class hydraulic construction Geghi reservoir is $207.4~ m^3/s$ in the case of $P=0.01\%$ safety, the guaranteed flow included. The maximum instantaneous flow data obtained for Geghi River is proposed to use in planning and operation works of different hydraulic structures in Voghji basin.
