Abstract: Literature review of the theory and practice of basic methods for the low-shrinking concrete production is given and affordable for the Republic of Armenia ways of their production are described. The acceptable way is the development of a special additive and its introduction into the common composition of the traditional Portland cement. For that reason the sources of the country have been comprehensively studied by chemical, X-ray diffraction and differential thermal methods, and concluded that it is more reasonable to use the gypsum of Paraqar mine deposits as a sulfate containing component and the cement kiln dust of exhaust gases coming out from the furnaces as lime containing component in the composition of additives.

Keywords: non-shrinking concrete, special additive, Portland cement, sulfate containing component, cement dust.
