Abstract:
Thermal decomposition of (NH$_{4}$)$_{2}$ZrF$_{6}$ resulting in ZrO$_{2}$ formation within the temperature range of
20$^{\circ}$ – 750$^{\circ}$Ñ has been investigated by means of thermal and X-ray diffraction analysis and IR and Raman spectroscopy. It has been established that thermolysis proceeds in six stages. The vibrational-spectroscopy data for the intermediate products of thermal decomposition have been obtained, systematized, and summarized.
