Controlling the emission spectrum of a diode laser with VHF modulation of the injection current

Abstract: The results of studies of the mechanisms for controlling the intervals between the pairs of VHF components on the side bands of the spectrum near the frequency of the hourly transition of rubidium are presented.

Keywords: modulation in the very high frequency (VHF) range, diode laser spectrum, coherent population trapping (CPT) resonance, light shift.
