Multilevel model of multiphoton processes in a helium atom in a strong laser field: ionization description

Abstract: A multilevel model that makes it possible to describe multiphoton processes taking into account ionization in a multielectron atom irradiated by an intense laser field is proposed. Using the He atom as an example, it is shown that this model reproduces the main regularities of multiphoton ionization of an atom by an intense high-frequency laser field.
