Abstract:
In this work we report detailed description of the setup for X-ray excited optical luminescence detection for X-ray phosphors considered as a part of composite materials for X-ray photodynamic therapy. The concept of X-ray photodynamic is briefly discussed in the introduction. The results of setup commissioning and test measurement are reported and the way of signal to noise ratio optimization is discussed. We report an example of the XEOL data collection for concentrated powder samples and diluted samples prepared in the form of colloidal solution.
