Development of a standard for verification of the system for automated morphometry of clinical images of skin neoplasms
Abstract:
Technological and metrological specifics were considered for developing a standard for calibration and verification of a system that performs automated morphometry of skin neoplasm images to diagnose melanoma. The requirements to be imposed on a standard were formulated. A technological process to manufacture the standard was developed on the basis of thermal-transfer printing. The main technological printing parameters were established as a temperature of 180$^{\circ}$C and a transfer rate of 2.0 s/inch. The color reproduction error was no more than $\Delta E^{*}ab$ = 2.5 (CIELAB 1976), and the geometric dimension reproduction error did not exceed 0.02% in printing the standard.
