Abstract: The optical properties of silver nanoparticles obtained by laser ablation and “green” synthesis were investigated. The aim of the work was to obtain silver nanoparticles with desired properties and study absorption spectra to compare the temporal stability of solutions of silver nanoparticles. For the obtained samples with silver nanoparticles, absorption spectra were measured, electron spectroscopy data were obtained, and the properties of silver nanoparticles obtained by different methods were compared.

Keywords: silver nanoparticles, the plasmon resonance, optical absorption spectrum, green synthesis, laser ablation.
