Abstract: We consider the problem of development of optical filters with synthesized transmission function. We demonstrate experimentally that acousto-optical tunable filters, which high-frequency control signal is generated digitally, is capable to synthesize various transmission functions: multi-band with adjustable location and bandwidth including asymmetric. And this fact open ways for complicated transmission function synthesizing.

Keywords: acousto-optical tunable filters, controllable transmission function, correlation spectroscopy.
