Analytical solution of the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with linear potential in diode

Abstract: An analytical solution of the Schrödinger equation with a potential in the form of a linear function is obtained by three methods. Their results correspond to each other and to the numerical solution. The current in the vacuum diode is calculated taking into account the temperature.
