Abstract:
For zigzag carbon nanoribbons ($m$-ZGNR), the dependence of the nonlinear current on the intensity of terahertz radiation with an inclined leading-edge width $\Delta T$ = 10$^{-10}$ s under a dc electric field is studied for odd m. It is theoretically and numerically shown that the nonlinear surface current can be two orders higher in comparison with ordinary carbon nanotubes. A strong dependence of the current on the ribbon width is established.
