Abstract:
The processes of phase formation and phase transitions in Tl–Fe–S thin layers are investigated by the methods of high-energy electron diffraction and kinematic electronography using an EMR-102 electron diffractometer. It is established that compounds of the Tl–S and Fe–S systems are formed in amorphous and highly dispersed polycrystalline states, respectively. A ternary compound with the composition TlFeS$_2$ formed in the amorphous state crystallizes in the monoclinic lattice under heat treatment. Upon recrystallization of the polycrystalline films of monoclinic TlFeS$_2$, the monoclinic lattice of the TlFeS$_2$ secondary phase is formed.
